The Central Statistical Office has reported a rise in several food prices during November, leading to a slight increase in inflation.
Prices for cucumber, tomatoes, carite, chive, garlic, and melon saw significant increases, but were offset by lower prices for chicken, irish potatoes, and oranges.
In its latest report, the Inflation Rate for November stood at 0.5%, up from 0.4% in October, with the All Items Index, a key measure of price changes, increased by 0.2% to 125.2 points.
The sub-index for Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco rose by 21.2%, while clothing and health costs decreased slightly.
