Claribel Tardieu has been found alive in the Maracas Bay area, more than a month after being abducted from her Monos Island home.
According to the TTPS, an intelligence-led overnight operation saw police search a North Coast Road location, where Mrs. Tardieu was found.
Her hands and feet were bound and face covered, but there were no visible injuries.
She was handed over to the Anti-Kidnapping Unit and taken for medical attention.
She was allegedly taken along with her husband, Derrick Tardieu, thought he was released on December 17th.
Police say the kidnappers initially demanded US$2.5 million, later reducing it to TT$100,000.
