A 42-year-old man has been denied bail after being charged with two counts of Trafficking in Children and one count of Sexual Penetration.
The charges follow his arrest on February 3rd, as part of Phase 2 of Operation Thinking Point – a multi-agency crackdown led by the Ministry of Homeland Security’s Counter Trafficking Unit.
The operation in Point Fortin led to the rescue of five Venezuelan females, aged 16 to 26.
The CTU says the denial of bail reflects the serious nature of the charges.
