bp Trinidad and Tobago has safely wrapped up its Cypre seven-well drilling programme, following the delivery of first gas in April.
The Cypre development links seven wells to bpTT’s Juniper platform—four were completed last year, and the final three have now been drilled, commissioned, and brought online.
At peak output, Cypre is expected to produce the equivalent of 45,000 barrels of oil per day, or roughly 250 million cubic feet of gas.
bpTT president David Campbell says the achievement highlights the company’s continued investment in the Columbus Basin and caps a strong year that included new discoveries and major project milestones.
Cypre, located 78 kilometres off Trinidad’s southeast coast, is bpTT’s third subsea development.
