The Beetham Landfill will be reopened to the public at 10am today.
This follows a fire, which has hampered operations at the site for several days.
In its latest update, SWMCOL says efforts are actively underway to restore full operations, with work continuing as well to address and minimize the impact of residual smoke.
Persons in the vicinity of the site, including motorists, are advised to continue exercising caution when travelling along the Beetham Highway and surrounding areas.
