Badree honored at Eden Gardens

Former West Indies cricketer Samuel Badree rang the customary Eden bell at the iconic Eden Gardens in presence of CAB Hony.

The former West Indies leg-spinner rang the bell to start the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 match between Italy and Scotland on Monday.

“It was indeed a pleasure and grateful for the opportunity,” Badree wrote on his Facebook page.

Badree was a member of T20 World Cup winning teams of 2012 and 2016.

Secretary Bablu Kolay, CAB Treasurer Sanjay Das, CAB Joint Secretary Madan Mohan Ghosh, CAB Senior Tournament Committee chairman Pradip Kumar Dey along with other CAB committee members and officials.
