The “Art of Managing an Emergency Response Center” training session officially got underway today at the National Racquet Sports Centre.
Minister Khadijah Ameen delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of preparedness and coordination in national emergency response.
The initiative is a partnership between the Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government’s Disaster Management Coordinating Unit and the Apexis Risk Innovation Group of Texas A&M University.
It aims to boost the skills of disaster responders.
