153 persons have so far been arrested under the current State of Emergency.
208 preventative detention orders were also issued, however one was issued in duplicate.
Both updates were given in the Parliament today by Homeland Security Minister Roger Alexander, in response to questions on the SoE from PNM Senator Vishnu Dhanpaul.
According to the Minister, 29 of the persons detained under PDOs have been formally charged, with their matters still ongoing.
On the matter of police officers being deployed at schools, Mr Alexander says between September to December 2025, 19 students were arrested and charged.
