As T&T seeks new opportunities for trade and investment, Trade Minister Paula Gopee-Scoon held a meeting today with representatives from Ghana.

The delegation was led by the CEO of Ghana Investment Promotion Centre and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority’s CEO.

The meeting focused on opportunities for improving trade, business, and investment linkages among T&T and CARICOM, with the African continent.

There was an agreement to have trade and cultural missions, including increased exports to Ghana for the steelpan and locally produced beverages and chocolates.

The possibility of a T&T contingent participating in a major cultural event called “Taste of Ghana” in December was also discussed.
