National Patriotism month launch on Friday

National Patriotism Month will be launched on Friday. This year’s event is called ‘Colour Me Trinbago’ and will feature an array of cultural performances celebrating T&T’s diversity. Celebrations run until Republic Day and comprise a series of cultural, educational and environmental activities aimed at fostering national pride. US Embassy hopes for collaboration with San Fernando Mayor

The US Embassy is hoping to inspire young people through collaborative projects with the San Fernando Regional Corporation. At least, this was the crux of discussions when Embassy officials met with Mayor Junia Regrello recently. It says collaboration could be done through bilateral education, empowerment and security programs. The Embassy says these projects would target people living in vulnerable communities and also address juvenile delinquency.
