The region needs to implement the best technology and state-of-the-art facilities to help reverse West Indies cricket’s fortunes.

This is according to cricket legend Brian Lara who spoke today at Day Two of the CARICOM Regional Cricket Conference.

He explained that the game changed in the 1990s and the region fell behind due to a lack of good facilities and the right technology to grow the game.

Lara warned that the science of cricket has changed and the region has to catch up, paying particular attention to the youths and providing them with opportunities.
