11-year-old Kerdel Poon has been safely located.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says Poon was not to be found when classes at his school were dismissed at 3pm on Friday.

HSRT was alerted by his family and searches were launched.

Poon was found around 4:25pm on Saturday at Tedd Street, off Arima Old Road.

He was still in his school uniform.

HSRT says Dabadie/Omeara MP and Minister in the Education Ministry Lisa Morris-Julien has pledged the assistance of the Student Support Services Division for Poon.
