An action plan is in place to determine the identity of a body found off the coast of Venezuela earlier this month.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says it contacted the Foreign Affairs Minister on Monday after Cedros residents reached out about the body, believed to be that of one of five missing fishermen.

David Seepaul, Devanand Seepaul, Gonzalez Ali, Shiva Rampersad and Jeremiah Pasqual have not been since the weekend of February 24th after leaving Fullerton to fish.

Meanwhile, Cedros residents will host a prayer vigil on Saturday, starting at 5:30pm with a two-kilometre walk from the home of one of the missing men and ending at Fullerton Beach.
