Mourners gathered at the Faith Assembly Church in Arouca this morning for the funeral of little Amarah Lallite.

The body of the four-year-old arrived in a casket adorned with her name and photos.

Speaking during the service, her father Shannon Lallite remembered her short life, noting the joy she brought to those who knew her.

He also distributed snacks to the children present, after getting them involved in a short tribute to Amarah.

Little Amarah Lallite was decapitated at her home at Fifth Street, Five Rivers, Arouca, on April 8th 2024.

Her stepfather, 39-year old Inshan Constant, has since been sent for a mental health assessment after appearing in court charged with her murder.

He will reappear before the court on May 1st 2024.
