A 38-year-old woman was granted $65,000 bail after pleading not guilty to fraud related charges.

Crystal Vikki, of Nurse Street, Guayaguayare, is charged with five counts of fraudulent use of a bank card and two counts of larceny of $2,500, against a 66-year-old pensioner.

On October 5th 2023, the man told police that he observed discrepancies in his account at a commercial bank.

Mayaro CID launched further investigations which included the execution of warrants at two commercial banks in Port-of-Spain.

After obtaining pivotal information, the woman was charged.

The matter will next be heard on May 16th at the Mayaro Magistrates’ Court.
