Tomorrow, a UNC team will meet with senior officials of the Elections and Boundaries Commission.

The meeting, requested by the party, will see discussions on several issues of concern, namely:

1. The EBC’s 2024 general elections boundaries report
2. Issues relating to special voting
3. EBC’s Election Day staffing qualification and training
4. Pending local government bye-elections
5. House to house survey & voter regularization and registration
6. The registration of Caricom nationals, Commonwealth nationals and non-Commonwealth nationals AND
7. Additions and deletions to the electoral list

The UNC delegation includes MPs Davendranath Tancoo, Saddam Hosein, and Khadijah Ameen, as well as UNC General Secretary Peter Kanhai, Senator Wade Mark, former MP Dr Tim Gopeesingh, Feeroze Khan, Vijay Gosyne, and Darryl Allahar.

The meeting is scheduled for 10am at the EBC’s Head Office in Port of Spain.
