The TTPS says the Cyber and Social Media Unit are continuing investigations into the origin of a threatening e-mail sent to the Barrackpore East Secondary School.

The sender threatened to shoot students entering the compound on Monday and Tuesday.

It sparked an increase in security at the school: MTS stepped up security measures, while police deployed additional patrols.

The TTPS says these efforts will continue as necessary and is calling on persons with information on the threat to come forward.
