The Met Service has ended its Hazardous Seas Alert.

The Yellow Level Alert was supposed to be in place until Tuesday.

However the TTMS says based on recent observations, the threat of choppy sea conditions and battering waves has been decreasing.

As such, it says significant impact to coastal activities is no longer expected.

All marine interests are still advised to monitor conditions when engaging in any sea-related activities.
