Sunil Narine says while he is flattered and humbled by calls for him to come out of retirement, he has no intention of doing so.

Following his recent performances in the ongoing Indian Premier League, some have publicly urged the player to make himself available for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Narine however says “the door is now closed”, adding that he will instead be supporting those who take to the field for the West Indies in June.

He pointed out that many have worked hard over the past few months, and deserve an opportunity to show fans “that they are capable of winning another title”.
