A 57-year-old man has appeared in court for sexual offences allegedly committed against his two stepdaughters.

According to police, two incidents allegedly occurred in 2021 when one of the victims was 13 or 14, while two other incidents allegedly occurred in March 2024 when the other victim was 11 years old.

The accused was charged with four counts of sexual penetration of a child – he was granted $220,000 bail or two counts and $220,000 bail for the second matter which carried two similar charges.

Both matters were adjourned to August 8th 2024.
