Saharan dust concentrations are currently moderate to high in T&T, and despite some ease on Wednesday and Thursday, another spike is expected from Friday.
This is according to Met Service Meteorologist Gary Benjamin who spoke with 103.1FM News this morning.
He says the Saharan dust issue is expected to persist until about the middle of the year.
Today, air quality levels in T&T varied between Orange or ‘Sensitive Groups’ in most areas, and Red or ‘Unhealthy’ for a period of time in Port of Spain.
