West Indies captain Hayley Matthews has been nominated for the ICC’s Women’s Player of the Month for April 2024.

Matthews scored 451 runs and took 12 wickets in six games against Pakistan in the qualifying period – 325 runs in ODIs and 126 in T20Is, while taking six wickets in each format.

She also won four Player of the Match awards, and a Player of the Series award in the ODIs.

Also nominated for April are South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt and Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu.
