A 28-year-old woman is now dead after being stabbed with a compass from a geometry set.

According to reports, Adana Simon and a female relative got into an argument around 9:30 last night at Queen Street in La Brea.

Simon, who is from La Brea, was stabbed several times and died several hours later at the Point Fortin Hospital.

The relative was also treated at the hospital and is now in police custody.
