A number of local entities have joined forces to host a demonstration calling for an end to the hostilities in Gaza.

The event is being held on Saturday at 2pm at the Queen’s Park Savannah opposite the US Embassy building.

It’s been organized by the Concerned Muslims of T&T, the MSJ, JTUM, the Network of NGOs for the Advancement of Women, the Emancipation Support Committee and Caribbean Freedom Project.

The groups say the event has been put together as they feel that it is time to send a strong message to the United States and Israel that T&T stands with Palestine.
