TTUTA calls for probe, repairs after Toco Secondary School fire

TTUTA is calling for a speedy investigation and immediate repairs after a fire damaged the Toco Secondary School.

The T&T Newsday reports that this morning’s fire is believed to have been set by an intruder.

In a media release this afternoon, TTUTA’s President Martin Lum Kin says the association condemns any action which disrupts the teaching and learning process.

In addition to calls for an arrest of the perpetrator of the blaze, Mr Lum Kin says the Education Ministry must immediately carry out repairs to minimize the disruption of the classes affected.
