The Arima Borough Corporation says it is working with the relevant authorities to ensure a comprehensive investigation into the death of a worker.

Around 11am yesterday, Aldwyn Kirton was reportedly crushed by a steamroller while at the Arima Velodrome.

He died of his injuries while undergoing treatment.

In a statement, the Corporation described Mr Kirton as a dedicated and hardworking individual.

It also committed to providing support to his family and co-workers.
