The trailer has been released for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie, “Emergency”.

The film explores a chapter from Indian political history, with Kangana taking on the role of the late Indian Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi.

The trailer gave a glimpse of the ‘darkest times of democratic India’ and its release today comes one day before the country’s observance of Independence Day.

“Emergency” also stars Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Milind Soman and Mahima Choudhry.
