The official trailer for ‘Bob Marley: One Love’ has been released!

Starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as the legendary Bob Marley, the movie follows the singer’s rise to fame with the Wailers, as well as the 1976 shooting at his home and his subsequent performance at a Jamaican peace concert.

Featuring some of Marley’s biggest hits, the trailer shows the very real threats he faced because of his social activism.

The movie also stars Lashana Lynch as Marley’s wife, Rita.

Regarding the role, Ben-Adir admitted to having reservations, given the legacy.

He also told Entertainment Weekly about the experience, saying “The more I dug into Bob, the more I realized that music was really everything to him. It really saved him, and he separated himself from other artists around that time.”

‘Bob Marley: One Love’ is set to hit theaters on February 14th 2024.
