Walcott finishes 7th in Men’s Javelin final

Keshorn Walcott failed to medal in the Olympic Men’s Javelin final, despite producing his season’s best distance.

Walcott’s top throw was 86.16 metres, which saw him finish 7th overall.

Gold went to Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem whose best was a staggering 92.97 metres – a new Olympic Record.

India’s Neeraj Chopra picked up silver with a throw of 89.45 metres, while Grenada’s Anderson Peters won bronze with a best distance of 88.54 metres.
