Ballot counting is continuing at the various polling stations where the UNC’s membership voted today in the party’s National Executive Elections.
Around 9pm, 103.1FM News spoke with Dr Allen Sammy, who is a member of the party’s Elections Management Committee.
Up until that time, he said counts were now beginning to come in from the various polling stations.
He added that the results will be shared later in the night.
17 positions are being contested, from Deputy Political Leader to Regional Representatives.
The post of Political Leader is not up for contention.
Two slates have fielded candidates.
