The Trinidad and Tobago Scrap Iron Dealers Association will help remove damaged/waste metals from the various Islands in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

This announcement follows a visit by a team from the Association to St Vincent, on the invitation of Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves.

Heaps of debris remain following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

In addition to touring impacted places, there were further discussions with Dr Gonsalves.

The team visited Union Island in the Grenadines – TTSIDA President Allan Ferguson says almost 98% of Union Island destroyed by Beryl.
