For the first time ever, holders of T&T passports can visit Paraguay for up to 90 days without a visa.
This as the two countries signed a Visa Waiver Agreement on June 27th during the 54th Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States in Paraguay.
According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, the agreement allows bearers of diplomatic, official or ordinary passports from T&T to enter, transit, stay or leave Paraguay without need of a visa, for a period not exceeding 90 days and vice-versa.
A visa will be needed for any visit in excess of 90 days.
The Ministry believes this agreement will open up new possibilities for increased people-to-people exchanges, trade, investment, tourism and diplomatic contacts.
