The Tourism Ministry is celebrating a highly successful 2023/2024 cruise season.
It says there was a marked increase in passenger arrivals, tour participation and economic impact.
According to the Ministry, there were 98 calls compared to 68 last season.
These brought a total of 177,579 passengers, which is a 46% increase from the 2022-2023.
There were 36 calls at Port of Spain, 51 in Scarborough and 11 at Charlotteville.
The Ministry also estimates total passenger spend to be TT$48,568,292.
Six ships also made inaugural calls this season:
The season began on October 11th 2023 and ended with the maiden voyage of the luxury vessel Island Sky on April 17th 2024.
