Police have seized thousands of camouflage items in downtown Port of Spain.

Between 2pm and 8:30pm yesterday, a search warrant was executed at a location on Frederick Street, in the presence of a 39-year-old female Guyana national.

The TTPS says a quantity of camouflage clothing was found at this location, and in an adjoining warehouse on Queen Street.

The items seized included 1,282 camouflage caps, 233 camouflage pants, 127 camouflage fisher hats, 21 pairs of camouflage slippers, 13 camouflage t-shirts, and one camouflage bag.

The items were handed over to the Customs and Excise Office, while the woman was detained for further questioning.
