A 17-year-old boy was gunned down in La Horquetta last night.

The incident occurred around 8:50pm, as Ezeikel Ramdialsingh was liming with others in a front yard at Silvia Hunt, Phase 4, having returned from a political meeting a short distance away.

Several loud explosions were heard and Ramdialsingh was later found with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.

He was taken to the Arima Hospital, where he died a short while later.
