Smash Mouth singer dies at age 56

56-year-old Steve Harwell, who co-founded the band Smash Mouth in 1994, has died.

The confirmation comes from the band’s manager Robert Hayes.

The singer was best known for several hit songs, including “All Star” and “I’m a Believer.”

Rolling Stone reports that he had been in hospice care following medical complications.

Harwell died today at his home in Boise, Idaho.

He was considered as a staple of ’90s rock music and saw success with multiple albums and singles.
