Saharan dust continues to impact air quality in Trinidad and Tobago.

According to the EMA’s Air Quality Index, readings at 11am have registered Orange or “Sensitive Persons” in Port of Spain, San Fernando, Toco, Mayaro, Point Lisas, and Scarborough.

In Arima, it was Yellow or “Moderate”.

The Met Service warns that significant concentrations of Saharan dust are expected to persist throughout the week, with mild to moderate concentrations expected by Friday.
