Jereem Richards set a new 400m National Record, despite placing fourth in the 400 metre final at the Paris Olympics this afternoon.
His time of 43.78 seconds fell just short of a podium spot as he fell behind Bronze medal winner Muzala Samukonga on Zambia.
USA’s Quincy Hall took gold with his 43.40s run while Great Britain’s Matthew Hudson-Smith got the silver medal.
