The T&T Regiment says a serviceman involved in Thursday’s accident along the Solomon Hochoy Highway has turned himself in.

In a statement on Facebook, the Regiment says the man did so under the supervision of military authority and has been exhibiting full cooperation with the T&T Police Service.

On Thursday, Kiss Baking Company delivery driver Neil Ballai died when his truck ran off the highway after being struck by another vehicle.

Dashcam footage showed the driver of the other vehicle allegedly fleeing the scene, leading to public outrage.
