Several artistes from T&T won big at the 2024 Caribbean Music Awards.
Held last night in King’s Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, the event also saw some major stars honoured for their contributions to Caribbean music.
The Honorees were:
- Marcia Griffiths – Lifetime Achievement Award
- Alison Hinds – Elite Icon Award
- Cedella Marley – Legacy Award
- Sherwin Gardner – Gospel Honors
- Di Genius – Producer Honors
- Mighty Sparrow – Calypso Honors
- Tabou Combo – Konpa Honors
- Ravi B – Chutney Honors
Among the big winners were Nailah Blackman and Skinny Fabolous whose hit song ‘Come Home’ won them Video of the Year (Soca) and Collaboration of the Year (Soca).
Skinny Fabulous also picked up the award for Male Soca Artist of the Year, while Patrice Roberts was named Female Soca Artist of the Year.
