A power outage has impacted the water supply to parts of South-West Trinidad served by the Cap de Ville, Chatham, Granville and Techier Water Treatment Plants.
Notice of this comes today from WASA, which says T&TEC is scheduled to restore the electricity supply at 6pm today.
Following this, the Authority says it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas.
Persons are further advised that they may experience some discolouration in their water supply following the restoration of service.
WASA says it will engage in system flushing exercises to minimize such occurrences, however persons experiencing a discoloured supply should allow their water to run until it clears.
