A 32-year-old plumber was remanded into custody after appearing in the Port of Spain Family Court charged with breaching a protection order and malicious damage.

The TTPS says on October 26th 2023, a woman was in her apartment when someone knocked at the front door.

After refusing to identify himself, the accused allegedly kicked down the door, causing damage to the door and its frame.

He also allegedly threw a pair of pliers in the woman’s direction before leaving the apartment.

The man is expected to reappear in court on November 6th 2023.
