The Office of the Prime Minister has officially confirmed this Friday, June 20th 2025, as a public holiday.

A statement released today says this is due to the recognition of both the Corpus Christi and Labour Day public holidays on Thursday June 19th 2025.

It adds that the decision was taken in accordance with the provisions of Section 3 (2) of the Public Holidays and Festivals Act, Chapter 19:05.
