Update: T&T cyclist Nicholas Paul is into the 1/8 finals of Men’s Sprint at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Paul had a time of 9.371 seconds in this morning’s qualifiers before beating Japan’s Yuta Obara in the 1/32 finals and Japan’s Kaiya Ota in the 1/16 finals.

He will next race at 1:38pm T&T time in the 1/8 finals.

T&T’s other cyclist in the event, Kwesi Browne clocked a time of 9.773 in the qualifiers and did not advance to the next round.
