A weather system approaching the Caribbean has an 80% chance of cyclone development through 48 hours.

The latest update from the National Hurricane Centre notes that AL95 also has a 90% chance of developing through seven days.

The T&T Met Service says this system currently poses no direct threat to Trinidad and Tobago and there are no alerts, watches or warnings in place.

Meanwhile, the NHC has put eyes on another system trailing to the east of AL95 which has a 20% chance of development through seven days.
