A new Management Committee has been elected for the Chinese Association of Trinidad and Tobago.

Serving as President will be Colin Mitchell, Managing Director of SIGNWAVE and Chairman of The Shelter.

Mr Mitchell has promised a year of transformation to ensure the Association is sustainable, and reenergized by bringing in younger members and encouraging families to participate.

The newly elected Management Committee for the Chinese Association of T&T also includes: Warren Chin – Vice President; Lauralee Kong – Honorary Secretary; Warren Scott – Honorary Treasurer; Lawrence Low; Nicky Fung; Daniel Young: Lucy Lee; Chad Achee; Johann Soo Yee.

In a statement, the Chinese Association of T&T said it was “committed to upholding and advancing the diverse cultural heritage of the Chinese community in Trinidad & Tobago and providing a welcoming environment for both members and non-members to connect, engage, and support each other, fostering a strong sense of community and cultural, social and economic initiatives.”
