NAMDEVCO has suspended the proposed increase in fees at the Norris Deonarine Northern Wholesale Market, Macoya.

The matter was first raised by Couva North MP Ravi Ratiram who said the doubling of fees would result in a direct hit to every citizen’s pocket.

Responding to the updated decision, the MP expressed satisfaction and congratulated stakeholders for using their collective voices to express their opposition.
