An MP wants answers from government after revelations by the fire officers’ union of a lack of resources.

According to reports, Fire Service Association President Keone Guy said some stations lack PPE, suitable trucks and adequate resources.

In a media release, Oropouche West MP Dave Tancoo said Mr Guy’s revelations must be a matter of national concern as the lives of officers and citizens are being put at risk.

He is now calling on the Finance Minister to speak out on what he calls the “underfunding” of the T&T Fire Service.
