A contractor has been engaged by the Works Ministry to remove the broken bridge at St John’s Branch Trace.
However, Fyzabad MP Dr Lackram Bodoe says he has been given no information on plans to build a temporary crossing or rebuild the bridge and residents continue to use a boat volunteered by a resident.
He is particularly concerned ahead of the reopening of schools.
The bridge at St John’s Branch Trace collapsed in July, affecting close to 40 residents from about seven homes, and marooning 11 vehicles.
