Work has been done to provisionally address the depression on a southbound lane of the Uriah Butler Highway.

The Works Ministry says maintenance teams were mobilized last night to carry out emergency repairs to protect and temporarily restore the affected lane.

It is now finalizing the scope of work for the culvert replacement, with repair works to be conducted at night to minimize disruption to commuters.

In the meantime, the Ministry says the site is being closely monitored.
